Shelly Bay Resort, Hervey Bay

I had a wonderful time at the resort, greeted warmly by Andrew and Donna, who made us feel right at home. The apartment was spacious, clean, and had a lovely view of the ocean. While the dining options could be expanded, especially at their Indian restaurant, we found plenty of great places nearby for meals. The pool area was a delightful spot to unwind after a busy day. Overall, it provided excellent value for the money, but there wasn't a dishwasher, which didn't bother us but could surprise others.

I stumbled upon this hotel while driving and decided to stay for a couple of nights. The location is unbeatable, right across from the beach, and the apartment we stayed in was lovely with a nice view of the pool. Though the service was great, especially from Renata at reception, it would have been nice to have a bit more quiet in the evening. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a well-kept pool area and good amenities, making it worth the price.
